Bro. Jack Hulsey has been our pastor at Woodlake Baptist
for almost 10 years. He has led us to push beyond what
we've always done and "think outside the box". He has a
deep love for God, a passion for His word and is dedicated
to sharing the message of Christ with a lost world. He is
relaxed and preaches with enthusiasm and humor. He
"tells it like it is" not because he says so, but because that's
what "God says in His Word."

Jack has been involved in ministry for over 25 years,
beginning while still in high school. He has served as a music
leader, Minister of Music and Youth, Associate Pastor and
Pastor over the years.

Bro. Chuck Philips has been at Woodlake Baptist for over 15
years leading us during our Praise and Worship time. Chuck
believes in a blended service that includes hymns of our faith
along with praise and worship songs and choruses. Chuck
has moved us forward not only musically, but with the use of
technology in our worship services. He has included an
instrumental ensemble in our services and of course, leads
our choir and is introducing a Praise Team to our services
soon. He is looking forward to new and exciting changes this
year!

Chuck has been involved in Music Ministry for over 45 years.
He began leading music in revivals in Texas, Louisiana,
Arkansas and Oklahoma when he was 17. He has gone on to
serve as bi-vocational Minister of Music at several churches,
even an English speaking church in Japan while stationed
there in the military. He has seen many changes in church
music over the years.

Bro. Larry Brown has been at Woodlake for about six years now and
has been serving as Youth Director on a volunteer basis. a few years
ago we officially added Larry to the staff as Youth Minister.

Larry has a love for youth and has a very enthusiastic personality. He
loves to teach small groups and has a straight forward "tell it like it is"
style. Larry challenges the youth to change their thought processes
and get outside the box in all their thinking. He stresses the big three
in this order 1)Worship 2)Prayer 3)Bible study.

Other areas that Larry works in: He preaches for and pastors men
and women serving in the Reserves at Fort Sam Houston. Those he
ministers to includes the 95th Divison 5th Brigade, Medical Training
Unit. These Reservists have all toured in Iraq and are training medics
who will be deployed following their training. Larry ministers to our
troops strictly as a volunteer!
