The Praise Team is a smaller group of vocalists who help lead in worship on a
weekly basis by enthusiastic participation in the song service and the occasional
presentation of special music. Vocalists should have a basic understanding of
music and be committed to attending rehearsal(s) and the Sunday morning
service. Some independent rehearsal is required.
The Vocal Music Department has undergone some changes over the past few
years. We are trying new things in order to better lead in worship and praise. If
you would like to be involved in any part of this ministry, please contact our
Minister of Music & Worship, Chuck Philips. He will be happy to answer any
questions and help you find your place of service.
The One Voice Choir has presented several musicals over the past few years.
Some at Christmas and some before the end of school. Some presentations have
been full musicals with singing and acting, others used singing with narration.

One Voice Choir meets on Wednesday evenings at 5:30 p.m. This choir is for
children and youth in the 1st through 12th grades. No experience is necessary,
just a willingness to learn and participate. Children learn the fundamentals of
singing, gain confidence and learn how to recognize and use their talents and
abilities in creative ways for the Lord.

Parents are always welcome to assist with snacks, costume preparation, building
sets and sometimes, parts in the presentation.
These team members are placed on the regular music schedule to provide special
music for worship. These musicians should be somewhat experienced.
Independent rehearsal is required. Coordination with accompanists for live music
may require additional rehearsals. This group of singers/instrumentalists will need
to audition or work with the Minister of Music in order to participate in this
opportunity.
